• Is everyone on the exec-list?
• Does everyone have access to pbworks?
• Make sure agenda is filled out. It is important for everyone to be familiar with agenda before the actual meeting.

• Attendance is mandatory
• Coordinate before hand with Sid, if something urgent comes up
• Poor time management is not a good excuse
• VPs are the communication channels between exec and sport groups. Communication is two-way.

•Make sure the meeting minutes have been sent out.

• Spending time at ORGT absorbing and building the culture is very important!
•I ask every VP to spend two hours at ORGT besides meetings, classes and trips.
• These can be distributed in any way you wish over the week
•You can even do your schoolwork during this time at ORGT (good luck!)

• VP’s responsibility to arrange everything: staff, location, gear
• Contact TLs and Instructors in advance – beginning of semester,
perhaps?
• Remind participants of the class.
• Give TLs the participants roster. Available on ORGt pbworks.

• Make sure the Redbook for the location exists and is in the
standardized acceptable format.
• Have all this info before Monday’s exec meeting that week: • number of seatbelts, • first-aid kits needed, • redbook location, • gear you need outpost to hold, • participants going on the trip and • staff going on the trip: van drivers, wfa certs, instructors

• TLs need to fill out a morning trip report before leaving – orgt pbworks• Absolutely essential for Risk Management
• TLs need to fill out a return trip report after arriving
What Sport VPs need to know
General
• Respond to e-mails from people interested in your sport
• Point of contact for David and Matt
• Maintain gear and strictly enforce cage code and gear rental policies
• Ordering new gear via David and Matt. Encourage gear chair to do it
•Mentoring and managing sport officers
