FIRST, WHAT IS ROTARY? Rotary is an

international voluntary service organization

1.2 million Rotarians throughout the world.

Worlds 34,000 Rotary Clubs belong to 530

Rotary International Districts.

The Philippines is divided into 10 Districts; there

are 800 Rotary Clubs with 20,000 members in the

country.

Our club,Rotary Club of Holy Spirit, belongs toRotary International District 3780 which is

comprised of 100 clubs with about 2,400

Rotarians in Quezon City.

Interact is a service club for

young people ages 14-18.

Sponsored by local Rotary

clubs, Interact clubs giveyoung people an

opportunity to participate in

fun, meaningful service

projects while developingleadership skills and

meeting new friends.

Program Guidelines

Most Interact clubs

Are school-based.

Have a Rotarian adviser and a faculty

adviser.

Meet at least once a month. Interactors must

attend 60% of regularly scheduled meetings.

Interact History

Interact stands forinternational action.

The first club was chartered in1962 at Melbourne HighSchool, FL, USA.

Today there are more than15,000 clubs in over 125countries with an estimatedmembership of 360,000 youthworldwide.
