Live Case Study of Design Projects

Students of all batches of the Department of Architecture had to study live projects similar to the given Architectural Design Projects for the semester MO-16. The studies could be located in different parts of the world or as per the design requirements.

A case study involves going on-site, measuring spaces, user survey and photographic documentation. Looking at places first hand and documenting information gives many insights and ideas about the working styles of professional architects and designers who have used years of experience and improvisation to design and create incredible structures.

Microclimate, utility and space, form and function, circulation, site planning & landscaping, structural details, parking, etc. were some of the important aspects to be analyzed.
