Dramaticfamiles include Genre, Plot, Theme, and Character. Theinterrelationships between these four aspects of story can be seen inthe nested nature of the table. Dramatica theory describes how toplace these story elements in context to create dramatic appreciationssuch as Goal and Premise. Dramatica software automaticallyrearranges the table to create a story progression that reflects thedramatic decisions made by an author.
