Youth Basketball LeagueOYA Basketball is a recreational league that exposes players to fundamentals of the sport and lets them hone their skills through game play. Players learn the game of basketball in a fun, fast paced, team orientated, and positive environment. Teams have one practice and one game per week for eight weeks. All players play at least half of every game. By registering during the early registration period you are ensured that your child will be placed on a team with your preferred coach and/or at least one of your requested friends. After the registration deadline, players will be placed on teams based on age to ensure teams are equally matched. OYA Reversible Jersey must be purchased separately if you do not have one from last year. Jerseys are available online or at the Orinda Community Center for $20.
