ormazabal VELATIAOrmazabal Power Project Ltd. is the result of almost two decades of continuous presence in the Republic of South Africa (RSA) and the other Central and South African markets. Higher technical demands from African customers, made us understand that, it is a must offering to Africa the identical product range with the best quality that is being installed in the European networks.
Within the passing years, we have started to work together with leading African customers in electrical power business. This situation has helped us to face and understand the different needs of customers from different business segments. In order to match these demands, we keep offering first class products and services backed up by the local presence of our partners.
Finally we have decided to go one step further: In order to satisfy the African customers’ demands at the higher level of local content, together with our well reputed partner, Megatron Federal (Pty) Ltd. from the Ellies Group, we have established a manufacturing facility for medium voltage GIS switchgear and transformer substations in Johannesburg. At the same time, we have created Ormazabal Power Project Ltd. to provide turnkey solutions for demanding renewable energy projects, especially for wind farms and PV plants.
Now Ormazabal Power Project Ltd. is ready to work on more challenging projects in the continent. We have a clear commitment of establishing strong business foundations that would grow together with the local community to provide sustainable solutions in Africa with the best quality products and services.

OPS EPCMOrmazabal Power Systems (OPS) is the new business unit that belongs to Ormazabal, and is fully devoted to offer solutions for electrical networks all over the world.
During the second semester of 2011, Ormazabal has entered into a new phase by means of de-centralising its worldwide organisation, through creating five different regions: Asia, North America, LATAM (Latin America), EMEA (Europe, M.East and Africa), and Iberia. This process has increased our proximity to our markets and facilitates our customer-orientated approach. Therefore a new business units (OPS) has been created for Substation Solutions (SSS) through acquisition of specialized regional engineering offices and collaboration with our local partners.
In any electrical project, it is a must to have a qualified project partner who can provide high-quality components and services for both electrical distribution and transmission networks as well as power generation. OPS aims to be your partner for any EPCM project who ensures you that the ad-hoc solutions are created just focusing to your projects and who guarantees you that all systems are designed, installed and commissioned by real experts.
