The state-of-the-art Synergy Data Center,

located in Baker City, Oregon, is the central

repository for HP TRIM and agency records

for the ORMS Project.

Venkat Subramanian, Sri Ramachandran and

Ryan Chaves worked for more than a week to

install and test ORMS/HP TRIM Infrastruc-

ture. All hardware, servers, storage and other

hardware have been installed in the ORMS

racks in the secure Synergy Data Center.

They are fully configured and ready for users

to come onboard, with capacity that exceeds

the needs of the Pilot agencies. Open spaces

visible in the photo of the racks (above right)

allow the ORMS solution to scale up to meet

the storage needs of a growing number of

Oregon state and local government agencies.
