Enjoy watching the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! Concessions will be available. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for an enjoyable night under the stars! Blankets will be on the blacktop with chairs behind and to the side of the blacktop. Family groups should social distance from other family groups when seng up their seang areas. The playground will be closed. Further direcons will be given when you arrive. Look for signage to help! See you there! DUE DATE: December 10 THEME: I Will Change the World By…” Students may parcipate in any of the following categories: film producon, photography, dance choreography, literature, visual arts, and music composion. Students should also be prepared to provide an Arst Statement (10 to 100 words) during the upload process describing the piece and how it relates to the theme. Entries must be submied by December 10 for judging. To enter (two-steps this year for increased security) - 1) Complete this Google form. A separate form must be filled out for each entry. 2) Compleon of the Google form will direct you to a Dropbox folder. Upload your entry into the correct folder. IMPORTANT the file MUST be named in the following format, or Dropbox may reject: Student Last Name, Student First Name, Age Category, Art Category/Division, School Inials/School Name (i.e. TuckerSamanthaPrimaryParis). We want to encourage all of our students to read at home for at least twenty (20) minutes every day! Your child can read independently or with you. Books are beer when you cuddle up and read with someone else! Consider reading aloud to your child and talking about the book together. Enjoying a good book with your child is one of the best ways to nurture a love of reading! Reading proficiency is the number one indicator of school performance. ERINS LAW The South Carolina Legislature passed legislaon in 2014 known as Erins Law. This law requires that South Carolina school districts extend their current mandated educaonal programs regarding personal safety, abuse educaon and prevenon curriculum to students in pre-kindergarten through twelſth grades. The goal of the Erins Law curriculum is to teach students to avoid situaons that may lead to abuse and to report any instances of abuse they may have endured. Please read the parent leer found here for English and here for Spanish. A copy of the curriculum is available in the office for parents who wish to see it.
