ENRICHMENT AND REINFORCEMENT

Riverside School transforms the lives of students with dyslexia and similar

language-based learning differences while supporting a community of highly

trained teachers and staff who specialize in educating these students

to their highest potential.

RIVERSIDE ARTS AND STEM CAMP

At this unique day camp, students have the opportunity to explore their creative side in a more relaxed summer setting with current Riverside teachers. Campers will participate in crafty arts that will include tie-dye, Ojo de Dios, friendship bracelets, and more! Additionally, makerspace will allow campers to build and design in order to solve problems. During the music block, children will create music using the classroom xylophones, metallophones, and glockenspiels. Most sessions end by singing fun songs along with pleasant piano sounds. Technology activities will incorporate interactive coding and programming.

DATES: June 22-26, 2020 TIME: 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.COST: $250 (Full tuition is due at registration)

AGES: Rising Grade 2-Rising Grade 6

Summer tutoring at Riverside offers our students individualized, multisensory Language Fundamentals or math instruction. All tutoring takes place at Riverside with our highly trained Language Fundamentals teachers or current Riverside math teachers. Each session is 50 minutes in duration and billed at a rate of $65 per session on a monthly basis. Slots for one-on-one tutoring fill quickly and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

RIVERSIDE SUMMERTUTORING

Help prepare your child’s return to school this fall with the skills they need to succeed. This camp will provide campers with 45 minutes of one-on-one, multisensory language instruction with a Riverside trained Orton-Gillingham teacher every day. In addition, the camp will include math, writing, and either science or music — all provided in a small group setting.
