MARKET OVERVIEW

The Ozarks are best known for the seasons. While the center does benefit from the year-round traffic coming from local towns and the nearby cities of Jefferson City, Springfield, and Columbia, it is most well known for the seven months of April through October. During this period the center becomes a major shopping destination of the Ozarks, catering to weekend residents, vacationers and day trippers from the larger markets of St. Louis and Kansas City. When not out on the lake, these visitors are visiting the only outlet mall within 130 miles and the largest shopping center within 46 miles of the Ozarks.
