EACH YEAR OF STUDY COUNTSEach year of study on an advanced level course is a step towards a full degree. You can get an HNC in year 1, an HND in year 2 or study a Foundation Degree over two years, you can top up to a full degree in year 3, or at a later date if you prefer.

LANGLEY COLLEGEConveniently located, Langley College is just a short walk from Langley train station on the mainline through to London Paddington.

Situated at the heart of the community, the college offers a vibrant and supportive learning environment where you can gain a qualification, receive hands-on training, make new friends and enjoy learning.

Our facilities feature industry-standard equipment and software to ensure you are up to date with the latest technologies and techniques used in the workplace.

STRODE’S COLLEGEIn the heart of Egham, Strode’s College offers an exceptional learning experience with high quality teaching areas and social spaces. The college offers a blend of traditional and modern facilities within a five minute walk of the town’s train station, which has excellent transport links.

WINDSOR COLLEGEWindsor College is a bright and modern campus, equipped with hi-tech classrooms and creative suites. We have invested in providing a top class learning environment.

FUNDING YOUR STUDIES

Higher Education courses are covered by a Student Tuition Fee Loan awarded by the Student Loans Company, visit www.slc.co.uk/england to find out more. You only start to repay your loan once you are earning over £25,000 per annum, on completion of your course.

For Access to HE courses, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help you pay for the tuition fees. This loan is not means tested or credit checked. Repayments only start once you have completed the course and are earning more than £25,000 per year. If you continue and complete a Higher Education course this loan will be written off.

We have drop-in sessions available over the summer for students who want to find out more about loans or need help with their applications.

NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART LEARNING CENTRELangley College has won funding from the Local Growth Fund to create a new Higher Education Centre, open to students from September 2019. This investment will provide students with modern facilities, a contemporary learning centre and state-of-the-art teaching spaces.

FREE PARKINGStudents can park for free at Langley, Strode’s and Windsor Colleges. You just need to register your car with Reception where you will be given a permit which must be displayed at all times.

Higher Apprenticeships offer a valid alternative to university, with the qualifications to match.

An apprenticeship is a job with substantial training and the development of transferable skills. You will earn while training and will have no debts as there are no tuition fees to pay.
