Patrick Mahoney brings over twenty years of practical experience in management and marketing to the team. Coming from the music and entertainment industry, Patrick first started his career as musician and then as manager and tour accountant for numerous national and international touring acts. For the last 15 years, Patrick has held several senior positions at companies focused on visual IP management and mer-chandising for artists and entertainers.

Patricks primary responsibility to the team will be overall logistical management and sponsor and stake-holder relations.

A road cycling enthusiast/sometimes masters racer himself, Patrick lives in Huntington Beach, CA with his wife Mary and son Ian.

Derick Tan has a cumulative 18 years experience in marketing, brand management and advertising. Having represented some of the largest consumer and B2B product companies to develop brands and create, execute and market advertising campaigns - Derick now brings this experience to help in the development of the team.

Derick is also an avid cyclist and life-long bicycle enthusiast. He has most recently ventured into the cycling industry, and for the last four years as the owner and operator of Out-Spoke-n Cycles in Huntington Beach, CA. In addition to being the teams primary sponsor, Derick and Outspoken will supply the team with all its equipment as well as provide ongoing technical and mechanical support.

Originally from Calgary, Canada, Derick now lives in Woodland Hills, CA.

Executive Summary

The Outspoken Cycling Team is an elite road cycling race team is managed by Genesis Cyclesports, LLC and based in Hunting-ton Beach, CA. The team participates in the SCNCA race schedule, which includes over 40 events in California, Nevada and Arizona between January and September. The Team also races select national events during the season.

Outspoken team riders embody the spirit and dedi-cation required to compete in bicycle racings new age in the United States, which is headed into the future with rapid growth, accelerated popularity and a renewed sense of ethics.
