First Day of School - Classroom Admit TicketEvery child TK-6 must enter with a YELLOW Oswalt Academy Admit One Ticket.
IF A STUDENT DOES NOT HAVE A YELLOW ADMIT TICKET - SEND HIM/HER TO THE OFFICE. (DOES NOT MATTER IF THEY ARE ON YOUR ROSTER!)
Every 7th & 8th grade student will bring in their white student schedule. Teacher must initial admit slip by the period assigned. Last teacher collects slip and returns to the office. A new copy will be in homeroom teachers box on Tuesday, 8/27. Please distribute to students.
All admit ticket must be collected and returned to the office.
Teachers do not switch students. Send student back to the office so that we can verify classroom placement!

RUSD Mission Statement
The mission of the Rowland Unified School District, the progressive international community united in learning, is to empower students so that each actualizes his or her unique potential and responsibly contributes to a global society, through a system distinguished by rigorous academics, innovative use of technology, creative exploration, and nurturing learning experiences.
RUSD Goals1. All students will be able to read by the end of 3rd grade.
2. All students will be grade level competent in math by the end of 6th grade.
3. All students will graduate college and career ready based on CCSS in all core subject areas.
4. The District will provide appropriate specialized service beyond the core academic program.
5. The District will ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all students (including facilities).
6. The District will prudently invest resources to ensure that students will attain 21st Century Learning Skills.
