As SPE President I am delighted to invite you to the Offshore Technology Days (OTD) premier event in Bergen, (14)-15-16 October, 2014. Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) has entered into a strategic partnership with Offshore Media Group (OMG) to host this epic event with anticipated attendance of 25.-30.000, a trade show of 510 exhibitors and a series of SPE technical workshops, and training courses.

Building on the excellent work of our local SPE Sections, this opportunity will afford members and non-members alike a platform for sharing knowledge and expanding network alliances and skills. The SPE workshop and training courses are designed to encourage knowledge transfer and provide a platform for discussion on the issues most important to the region.

Tribute to Getz/Gilberto 50th Anniversary ConcertDuring the Nattjazz 2012 in Bergen the artist Doddo/Gabriela together with their band held the concert “Tribute to Getz/Gilberto 50th Anniversary” which was a great success. OTD Icebreaker is proud to present the full concert.

Getz/Gilberto was released in 1964, and it went on to win the 1965 Grammy for Album of the Year and Best Jazz Instrumental Album - the first time a jazz record would get such acclaim.
