About us
Oakwood Training Ventures™ was established in February 2011 by Saurav Das, who was later joined by Kunal Vijayakar, Shailesh Thakur and Abhinav Sharma, three very young, well-qualified and dynamic individuals who add value to the overall business of corporate training. The trio is advised by Mr. Omar N. Maner, a seasoned human resource professional and the global delivery head of a multinational software company; and Mr . S. S. A. Zaidi, a banking veteran and one of the co-founders of Oakwood Training Ventures™. Since inception, Oakwood Training Ventures™ attracted talented senior trainers and industry professionals for various training programmes in banking, finance, and generic domains. We continue to receive applications almost every day but we choose to empanel a few professionals . Our focus has been cost effective, high-value, training solutions for cooperative banks with the ultimate objective of being a strategic consulting firm for cooperative and private banks; and a national training institute for banking training over the next few years. Oakwood Training Ventures™ has also catered to larger private players for Finance training, Leadership and Teamwork training, Outbound Management programmes, mostly in 2012, and continues to prepare itself for larger assignments and roles in the days to come. Although we come across as a Banking and Finance training firm, we certainly have distinguished competency in other domains as well. Our next slide highlights some of our programmes.
