This teaser poster doesn’t give much away, only the name itself and the object. The fact that the name of the film is ‘Ouija’ already gives the audience a good idea about the film’s genre. Ouija boards are well-known objects which are notorious for contacting the dead.

The colour scheme also conforms to the horror genre as it is red/orange, which could also connote ancient objects, linking back to the board itself. This is all the information we can gather.

Main PosterThe main poster for this film is a lot more informative as it has people in it, obviously the board again, the title of the film, and also the release date and the producers. This poster is fuelling the main campaign for advertising for the film, therefore needs to include more information than the ‘teaser’ trailer.

the film along with distribution

and promotion costs.
