Welcome to Chuck E. Cheese’s.

Here is the money for you and your friends. Please keep track of what you spend. THIRTY

dollars is a lot. So please don’t spend it all in one spot.

Extra Challenge: The kids got two TEN-DOLLAR BILLS and two FIVE-DOLLAR BILLS. Can you come up with

three other ways to make THIRTY dollars?

One large pizza for us to eat. For just TEN dollars we enjoy a

pepperoni treat!

One dollar each ($1x4 children) is a very good save for an extra-long ride on the

Mad Wave. Up and down, then round and round. Our feet don’t even touch the

ground.

Cotton Candy is a yummy treat. Pink, Puffy and good to eat. For just one dollar

a bag, we each get our own to have!

Here we go to the skee ball lanes. We paid FIFTY CENTS ($0.50 x 4 children) for each game. We’re extra careful so our balls don’t crash. Was it worth the TWO DOLLARS of

our cash?

Extra Challenge? The children pay for all four skee ball games with a FIVE-DOLLAR bill. How much change should

they get back?

One dollar ($1 x 4 children) is what we each paid to play Mario Cart in the arcade. If we can get

first place, we’ll get a totally free race!

It cost TWO DOLLARS ($2 x 4 children) in all to go to the super-duper puppet show. We take our seats and the

curtain rises. Out pops a band with silly surprises.

Extra Challenge? If one of the kids decides not to go to the puppet show, how much will it cost them instead?

The day has come to an end. How much money did we spend? How much do we

have left?

At the end of the day…

The four kids started the day with $30.After the Pizza ($10 total), the children had spent $10.

[$30-$10=$20]After the Mad Wave ($1x4 children), the children had spent $4.

[$20-$4=$16]The cotton candy was also $1 for each child.

[$16-$4=$12]The skee ball cost the four children $0.50 each. All together the children spent

$2.[$12-$2=$10]

Like the Mad Wave and the Cotton Candy, Mario Cart cost the children a total of $4.[$10-$4=$6]

For the puppet show, the children spent a total of $2, at $0.50 each.[$6-$2=$4]

The children have $4 left at the end of the day!

We each get one dollar to take home and MANY memories!
