Born from a family-run, distinctly American company, Duralee Furniture was created in 2003 in an effort to offer our customers a one-stop shop for creating their rooms. Its inception made Duralee Fabrics the first fabric company in the industry to produce our own furniture frames in-house. We made a home in our Morganton, North Carolina facility, providing jobs for approximately 85 local professional craftsmen, and our upholstered furniture pieces now proudly bear the tag “Made in the USA”.

Duralee Furniture offers exceptional quality with customizable options for optimal versatility. Ranging from traditional to transitional to modern, the design style of Duralee Furniture is all-encompassing and ever-evolving. We appreciate the broad scope of fine design and don’t limit ourselves to fit a certain aesthetic. At Duralee Furniture, we understand that a well-made furniture piece is an investment and consider this from the concept and design phases of production through completion. The design of a home is a personal experience. While style is significant in a well-designed interior space, comfort and livability is essential. From seat depth to fill materials, our furniture frames are created to promote a balance of elegance and relaxation.

In addition to our broad designer line, the Duralee Furniture Build Your Own program offers various options for creating a customized furniture piece without breaking the bank. To add to the value and durability of the Build Your Own line, Duralee is pleased to introduce our Pay One Price upholstery fabric options— featuring Crypton Home and selections from our price-conscious Duralee Blue Band fabric collections—all at one value price point when applied to a Build Your Own frame.

From this viewpoint, we collaborate with master artisans, expertly versed in traditional and inventive techniques, to transform our textile visions into fabrics that stand apart from all others. We balance the intricacy of handiwork with the innovation of technology. While most widely known as a purveyor of some of the world’s finest silks, the breadth of our collections extends to exquisite linens, wools, cottons and cashmeres. Tightly edited categories, such as silk jacquards and boucle yarns, demonstrate our attention to nuance and craftsmanship. With each fabric developed for a variety of applications, including drapery, bedding and upholstery, our designs prove luxury is in the details.

Recognizing the value of luxury, Duralee has created the DF Monogram brand umbrella as a resource for finding luxury products that have been both crafted and curated by the tastemakers at Duralee.

We are proud to feature the fabrics of Highland Court, Bailey & Griffin, Clarke & Clarke, James Hare and Lulu DK under the DF Monogram designation. While some of these product lines are developed in the Duralee Design Studio by our expert textile designers, others have been sourced internationally, giving DF Monogram a versatility that no other fabric company has in the market today.

DF Monogram products traverse all design styles. Each of the lines feature distinctive styling that fulfill their own niche within the luxury market. The products created within our studio range from the modern luxury of Highland Court, to the more traditional, historically-inspired Bailey & Griffin, to the whimsical sophistication of Lulu DK.
