Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Palm Sunday, March 25 at 9:00. We will meet in the Gathering Room, after the Egg Hunt all children will go to the Jr. Assembly Room and participate in The Last Supper activities.

The following events are scheduled to support The Krislund Traveling Day Camp which will be held June 18-22.

April 15th Baked Potato Bar immediately after church in Fellowship Hall. We pro-vide the potato and all the fixins, we are asking for donations of desserts. A free will offering will be collected.

April 22-May 6 We will start taking orders for Deppen Pies you may remember last year when you wished you would have ordered extra pies here’s your opportu-nity. Pies will be delivered on Wednesday May 16th.

It's time to make MOTHER'S DAY CARDS again!! Every year Paxton Women's Association launches a campaign to send boxes of Mother's Day cards to a remote Army base, so the sol-diers can pick cards for Mom, Grandma and Wife, and send back to the U.S.! The cards are homemade from recycled greeting cards. If you'd like to volunteer to glue sentiments inside the cards, look for take-home packs at the Gathering Room table!

RISE AGAINST HUNGER— As you write your check for your weekly pledge, please consider a monetary gift to Rise Against Hunger.

My name is Aaron Bingaman. I am 16 years old, and am a sophomore at Sus-quehanna Township High School. My parents are Gerald and Nancy Bingaman. I have an older brother, named Kurt. He is married to Kylie and they have two kids, Aiden and Lily. They are 3 and 1 and have birthdays coming up in March and April.

As a Boy Scout, I am currently working to become an Eagle Scout. I only have a

merit badge and some paperwork left. At school, I am involved in Chorus, Concert Choir, Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Robotics Club and Tennis.

I play a different instrument in each of the three bands I am in. In concert band I play baritone, in marching band I play trumpet and in jazz band I play bass. I have also been playing piano for 10 years, and I know guitar as well. In addition to tennis, I play baseball.

Hi. I’m Olivia Signore. My birthdays is February 10th, 2005. I am 13 years old and have two siblings, Clayton and Giavanna. My mother is Michelle Si-gnore and my father is Steve Signore. I am the granddaughter of Carol and Ed Steckbeck. I am the niece of Rita Brim, Heather Siler and Kaitlyn Keim.

and am in the 7th grade. My hobbies

include cooking, jigsaw puzzles, eating

and watching TV. I want to go to the

University of Delaware for Marine Biol-

IT'S TIME FOR PAXTON'S SPRING CLEAN-UP! April 7th is the date of the ANNUAL PAXTON SPRING CLEAN UP DAY! This fun-filled event be-gins at 8:00 and will be jam packed with laughter, fellowship, and cardiovascular workouts. Some of the exciting events will be: the Paxton 100 yard rake off, the tanbark throw, and of course, the ever popular pickup sticks. So come and join with us and we'll have a great

morning in the sun! Bring your rakes, pruners, gloves, water, garden

forks, wheelbarrows, tarps, or whatever you plan to use. But, most of all,

we need you!!!!!!! Rain date is April 14th. See you all Saturday, April 7th

at 8:00.

Paxton Softball Team Pre-Season Recruiting:

This will be our TENTH year in the Penbrook-Progress Church Softball League. Our church softball team is looking for players to round out our roster this year. If you love playing softball, are male or female, between the ages of 15 and “able to swing a bat”, then we are hoping you will join

the team this year.

If softball isn’t your game… Do you know a family member or friend who would be interested in playing?

Please contact Coach Tom (717 727 4239) for details or talk with any of our

Team Alumni or current players.

Our League plays mainly on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, between April and

August, at local fields.

We also have many openings for fans to cheer on our team!

Annual Penbrook-Progress Softball League Golf Outing Friday 5/11/18

12PM registration & 1PM Tee off - at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course (901 Jim Thorpe Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013). $65 per player for those who play in golf tourna-ments, this is a reasonable price which helps support the Team and the League. Entry fee includes driving range warm-up, door prizes and dinner. We are looking for a good turnout this year. Anyone is welcome to play - inexperienced or experienced golfers are welcome - team members, family, friends & neighbors, etc. Please contact Tom Nichter (717) 727-4239 as soon as possible if you are interested in playing this year.

PAXTANG HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEETING

April 2, 2018 (Monday) - 6:30 PM - Paxton Presbyterian Church, 3500 Sharon Street, Paxtang. Norman L. Daniels will talk on the History of Paxton Presbyterian Church. Norm is the Chair of the Paxton Presbyterian Church Historical Commit-tee. He is past president and current treasurer of the Harrisburg Civil War Round Table and a member of the Hershey Civil War Roundtable. His talk on the history of the Paxton Church is partly based on his own original research and will include many new fun facts, vignettes, and historical speculations. Norm is a retired ele-mentary teacher for the Central Dauphin School District, with an undergraduate college degree from Penn State Harrisburg and two masters degrees from Ship-pensburg University. Light refreshments will be served at the meeting. All are wel-come to attend.
