How to qualify for savings on flights:

We calculate your flight saving by taking into account your Vitality Money status, your Vitality Health status, and your average qualifying monthly spend over the last 12 months, at the time of the booking.

If you’re new to Discovery Bank, we take into account your average qualifying monthly spend since joining, with a minimum spend history of at least three months. If you've moved your previous Discovery Card across to Discovery Bank, we'll include your spend history before the move.

To qualify for your flight saving when you book an international business class flight, you need to have maintained an average monthly positive balance of at least R250 000 over a 12-month rolling period across all your accounts, at the time of the booking. If you've had your Discovery Purple Card for less than 12 months, we look at your average balance since joining as a Purple client, over a minimum period of at least three months.
