1. HOW MUCH ARE YOUR SITE FEES? The main costs for 2019 are £4,943 on the main Caravan Village area. This is broken down as follows: Rent £4,100, rates £528, and caravan insurance of £315 (for a 12ſt wide caravan). Gas and electric is metered and the cost depends on usage. Other regular costs include winterisation and safety checks etc. 2. CAN I USE THE BUTLIN’S RESORT FACILITIES? Absolutely! You and your family will be entitled to 10 passes that will allow you as much access as you like throughout the caravan season, to use the facilities. We also offer our owners exclusive discounts in our resort shops and restaurants. 3. HOW LONG CAN I KEEP MY HOLIDAY HOME AT BUTLIN’S? There is no age restriction on holiday homes sited on our Butlin’s Minehead Caravan Village. 4. CAN WE TRANSFER OUR HOLIDAY HOME ON TO BUTLIN’S? Unfortunately not, we are the site operator and dealer, however we may be able to accept your existing holiday home in part-exchange. 5. ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON THE CARAVAN PARK/VILLAGE? Yes, selected breeds of dogs are allowed on the Caravan Village. Dogs are not allowed on the main resort complex unless they are assistance dogs. 6. CAN I RENT OUT MY HOLIDAY HOME? Yes you can privately rent out your holiday home. This will need to be done independently as Butlin’s Minehead do not sublet on behalf of owners. Your earning potential from renting out your holiday home can cover your costs or more, dependent on the number of dates you choose to rent it out. Please note resort passes for other guests will be subject to additional costs. For more information please speak to our caravan team. 7. I LIVE QUITE A WAY FROM MINEHEAD, DO YOU HAVE ANYONE ON-SITE WHO WILL CLEAN/MAINTAIN MY HOLIDAY HOME? We have cleaning contractors, who you can make arrangements with, to clean your holiday home between lets. They will also carry out small repairs on request. We also have Butlin’s tradesmen who will carry out plumbing, electrical and gas repairs. You can also choose to be included in our holiday home maintenance option scheme. 8. CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN PITCH? You can choose from any pitches that are available. Our team can talk you through the available pitches and help you find one suitable for your family as well as the holiday home you choose to buy. 9. HOW LONG IS THE CARAVAN PARK/VILLAGE OPEN? The Caravan Park/Village is open from 1 March to 31 December (plus the first two days in January). Holiday homes cannot be used for residential purposes. 10. DO YOU OFFER FINANCE PACKAGES?
