“The Bridge to Life is happy to announce that we have opened our long-awaited counseling office in Astoria at 9-18 27th Avenue. Additionally, we were able to secure a space for our Astoria Material Assistance facility at the same site, formerly located on Newtown Avenue. We were very fortunate that the same dedicated volunteers moved with us to our new Astoria location. We deeply appreciate all our Astoria and Flushing volunteers who continue our mission of helping moms and their families in their time of need. Without their untiring efforts, this would not be a reality. If you know someone in need of counseling, please refer them to our new website. Just go to “Refer Someone to Bridge” section under the Contact menu of www.thebridgetolife.org. “
…………………..Ginny Gallo, Coordinator of Material Assistance
Remember, school may be closed, but Church is
open all year-round !
If your child expresses interest in the priesthood or religious life, be supportive. If you’re excited, don’t
push too hard. If you’re apprehensive, trust in God’s plan. The best thing you can say is,
“Whatever God wants for you, I want for you too.”

Scripture Sharing
Arise Together in Christ - Season IV is over. All participants had a wonderful faith-filled experience. However, learning about Jesus through Scripture does not end with Arise. Every Tuesday at 7:15 pm in the convent, Scripture Sharing takes place. It’s the time we focus on the upcoming Sunday readings and compare them to situations in our own life. All are invited. The only thing you need is the desire to learn more about Jesus. So if you skipped Arise, now is your chance to get on board and find out what all the participants of Arise are talking about. It is never too late to start awakening yourself up to Scripture reading. Don’t let that beautiful light go out! Join us every Tuesday evening at 7:15 in the convent to keep that flame burning!
Frassati Fellowship of NYC is a great fellowship for young adult Catholics in their 20s and 30s.
Please visit frassati.nyc and join their mailing list for upcoming events.
As you clean out your closets to make way for summer clothes, please remember that the St. Vincent de Paul box (100 St. & 158th Ave.) accepts clean clothing and bedding for the less fortunate.
Rosary Procession Every Saturday at Noon
Please join us as we pray the Rosary every Saturday at noon. We meet at the cross in front of the rectory and walk to the Lourdes grotto behind the convent.
Please join us in this wonderful prayer and expression of our faith!
