Ideas Rejected

• Originally we were going to show the face of what would be the main character in our opening but decided against it.

• We were also going to shoot the scene for the opening in a house put decided to shoot it in a warehouse instead.

Final Idea

• A paedophile who kidnaps and then kills the children he takes. The film will be set in a questioning room with the paedophile being interrogated by a police officer as he tries to find out the whereabouts of a child that has been taken and may still be alive. He must do all this while engaging in sadistic mind games . Throughout the film you will be able to get inside the mind of both the paedophile and the interrogation officer as the film will flip from the past and the present which will show the events that have lead up to the confrontation of these two characters.

Inspiration

• Crash: as in Crash it shows how each character intertwines with each other which makes the film much more intriguing.

• The Butterfly effect: in this film it flips between the present and the past which helps you get to know and get in the mind of the main character.

Casting

• Alena – The paedophile/ child.• Malachi – The officer.• Aishah – The parent.

Tagline

• Taking mind games to the next level. Its never been so DARK. This is the face of evil.

Possible music

• For our music we have decided to go with a more empty sound. For example we plan to have broken and blocked chords played on a piano with the sound of chanting in the background to give a more chilling effect and feeling.
