OUR WORLD IS FAT (Or at least most of it)

Not only America is lazy or fat

Environment is neglected

The world is a place of nonstop pollution

Plastics, papers, etc. are turned into pollution

One large area of the pollution is in technology

Waste time on video games/electronics

Waste resources on devices

How does this apply to technology?

Companies are using/inventing better products

EX.: Apple, GE , GOOGLE

Using new types of energy/materials

SOLAR ENERGY, RECYCLED MATERIALS, ETC.

Data centers us 50% less energy

Committed over $1 billion in renewable energy products

Ex.: Windmills, solar panels, etc.

Implement walking instead of driving

Google maps

Apple

Monitor the environmental footprint

All Apple data centers are:

100% green

Use only renewable energy

Reuse parts from old computers

Recycle everything!

Safety Net?

These companies are our “safety net” for now

They are trying

To stop pollution

To encourage getting fit

These companies are not fat or lazy
