Dear Beading Friends, As I write this, we are getting ready to spring forward into daylight savings time. Although, I hate losing the hour, I love the lighter evening hours and “sprummertime”! We have a great sprummer schedule this year with lots of classes and many events and trunk shows. We are expanding Beading at the Castle, BATC, to the second Tuesday evening of each month from 5-8p.m. Our daytime BATC, on the second Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., has become quite popular and we would like to extend the opportunity to more people to come and bead at “the Castle”. Come and bring your beading (wire work) project, perhaps a friend, lunch (if you want) and meet fellow beaders. Our classroom is yours and help is available on a “if we can help you, we will” basis. We have made a change in our hours. We are open 10-6 Tuesday through Saturday and noon-5 on Sunday. We are still closed on Mondays and will no longer be open on Thursday nights unless we have a class. Although many events are in place, we are still scheduling a beaders’ day and night out with special projects and a demo day and we are working on some short seminar programs. Please stay posted for more info on these by providing us with your email address. I want to wish all the Sprummer babies a very Happy Birthday. Remember to come in during the month of your birthday and receive your gift of 20% off one shopping trip to Creative Castle AND we will punch your key card for the amount of your purchase. Creative Castle is still looking for that special someone to take over the helm and guide this beading vessel forward into the 21st century. In the meantime, we are not closing and will continue to be a staple in the beading community. Your continued patronage allows us to continue to do what we do - provide you with some of the newest beads, findings, supplies and techniques as well as access to the best classes and extraordinary service and experience on a daily basis. Please let us know if there is any beading need you have; we would like the opportunity to help. Dear Beading Friends,

As I write this, we are getting ready to spring forward into daylight savings time. Although, I hate losing the hour, I love the lighter evening hours and “sprummertime”! We have a great sprummer

schedule this year with lots of classes and many events and trunk shows. We are expanding Beading at the Castle, BATC, to the second Tuesday evening of each month from 5-8p.m. Our daytime BATC, on the second Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., has become quite popular and we would like to extend the opportunity to more people to come and bead at

“the Castle”.

It is our goal to provide you not only with wonderful merchandise, but also a fabulous environment in which to discover it.

A beautiful bracelet project inspired by the beauty of cathedral windows... Since the kaleidoscope glass I used for this is very angular looking, I wanted to reflect the shape in the overall design of the bracelet. It's a much lighter, sort of breezier composition than most bead embroidered bracelets. The negative space really adds to the feel of fragmentation.
