If you do not withdraw by this deadline, you are deemed to have confirmed your acceptance and will not be able to participate in the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) and all other polytechnic admissions exercises.

The EAE allows you to secure your place in NYP in the course of your choice. With a wide range of full-time diploma courses offered by our seven Academic Schools, you will definitely find something at NYP that suits your interest.

More than 40 diploma courses are available for application under the EAE. Of these, 17 courses (where interest and abilities are particularly important) will be allowed to admit up to 50% of their enrolment through the EAE. These courses are:

Design

Selection CriteriaNYP will assess applicants through a range of criteria, including:

• Clear evidence of interest and aptitude for applied learning in polytechnic courses• Demonstrated interest, talent and aptitude related to the course applied for, through

portfolio of works, work attachments or sustained involvement in course-relevant projects• Awards, achievements, testimonials and recommendations• Participation in competitions, seminars and relevant CCAs• Leadership positions or roles in school and/or CCAs

Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an aptitude test or interview.

Conditions: If you receive a conditional offer via the EAE, in order to confirm your place in the polytechnic course, you will still have to sit for your GCE O Levels and meet the following admission criteria:

1. Obtain a net ELR2B2 score of not more than 26 points for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level examinations; and

2. Meet the Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs) for the respective polytechnic courses that they have been offered under the EAE.
