    BioblitzThe Bioblitz helps make everyone—particularly youngadults and families—more aware of Montréal’s biodiversi-ty, with scientists organizing recreational activities withina large park.

    This season, Angrignon Park will host scientists andother members of the community for two days of activi-ties, including an inventory of the park’s biodiversity. Thisevent will be an opportunity to broaden our understand-ing of efforts to protect biodiversity in Montréal’s largeparks (inventories, control of invasive species, etc.) andto meet specialists (biologists, tree growers, wildlife tech-nicians, botanists, etc.) who work in the field.

    Information collected over these two days will be postedon line and will be used to develop a park discovery walkassociated with BioTrousse Montréal. Furthermore, anannual schedule of eco-citizen activities (environmentalfollow-up, green brigades, etc.) will be offered to thosewho wish to pursue their involvement and participate in abetter understanding of urban biodiversity.
