outline phytosociological scale and ecology of three related peatmosses (sphagnum subsecundum s.l.)
DESCRIPTION
The article summarises available data on occurrence of Sphagnum denticulatum Brid., S. inundatum Russ. and S. subsecundum Nees in various habitats in Poland. Outline phytocoenological scale and syntaxonomical value of each of the mentioned species have been drawn on the basis of comparison of chosen (published and unpublished) phytosociological relevés. Additional information about the species’ ecological preferences has been taken from the Polish herbaria and the relevant literature.TRANSCRIPT
