Access Free Yahoo! Mail with Outlook 2007

To fetch mail from and send mail through a free Yahoo! ail account in Outlook+

• Install Y(O(s! and make sure it is running.

• -elect Tools | Account Settings... from the menu in Outlook.

• /o to the E-mail  tab.

• 0lick New....

• ake sure Microsoft Exchange, POP3, MAP, or !TTP  is selected.

• 0lick Next ".

• Type your name &what you want to appear in the #rom$ line of messages you send) under

%our Name$.

• 1nter your full Yahoo! ail address &e.g. 2e3ample4yahoo.com2) under E-mail A&&ress$.

• ake sure Manuall' configure ser(er settings or a&&itional ser(er t')es is checked.

• 0lick Next ".

• ake sure nternet E-mail  is selected.

• 0lick Next ".

• ake sure POP3 is selected under Account T')e$.

• Type 2#56.7.7.#2 under both ncoming mail ser(er$ and Outgoing mail ser(er *SMTP+$.

• Type your Yahoo! I8 under ser Name$.

The Yahoo! I8 is also the first part of your Yahoo! ail address* i.e. e"erything before

24yahoo.com2. If your Yahoo! ail address is 2e3ample4yahoo.com2* the I8 is 2e3ample2.

• 1nter your Yahoo! ail password under Passwor&$.

• 0lick More Settings ....

• ake sure M' outgoing ser(er *SMTP+ reuires authentication is checked.
