information (including PMIEF materials) about project management career options with USACE employees.

Corporate Outreach SLA NY/LLAGNY Project Management Series Project Management has been identified as a core skill for librarians and information specialists. The Special Libraries Association New York Chapter and Law Library Association of Greater New York are partnering for a three-part series on Project Management. Session 1 on October 29 provided an introduction for information professionals new to the practice of project management. Mimi Rosenfeld, PMINYC Outreach Program Manager, presented an overview of the PMI framework to an engaged and receptive audience. SLA NY and LLAGNY members then participated on a panel to discuss their experience with project management. The series will continue in November and December with sessions about tools and lessons learned. Organizers are still looking for speakers and panel members for the next two sessions. If you are interested, please contact Mimi Rosenfeld: [email protected].
