founding at the Cleveland Institute of Music. The Quartet has enjoyedstunning success, winning the Gold Medal at the prestigious 2009Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the 2009 Coleman-BarstowPrize, First Prize at the 2010 Hugo Kauder Competition, and recently,the ProQuartet Prize at the Borciani International String QuartetCompetition.

The Berlin-based Artemis Quartet is unanimously lauded as one of thepremiere string quartets in the world. Since their debut in Germany in1989, the quartet has performed sold out concerts in all the greatmusic centres and at international festivals in Europe, the USA, Japan,South America and Australia.
