SUMMARY
A 7 hole, 46.9 meter basal till overburden drilling
programme was carried out over Conductor A on mining claim
K-896879 in early November, 1988.
Results of this work indicate that Condutor A is associated
with a pyritic sericite shist and likely a true bedrock conductor.
Gold values in basal tills 15 and 20 meters down ice from Conductor
A indicate a possible gold association.
Diamond drilling of Conductor A on line 2+25 west is
recommended.

INTRODUCTION
This report .documents results of an overburden drilling
programme carried out on mining claim K-896879 held by Mr. David
Busch. The property and claim locations are shown in Figures 1 and 2.
The field work was contracted to Sub Terra Technologies Inc. of
Bissett, Manitoba and was performed between Nov. 1 and 5, 1988.
A total of 46.9m (153.9 feet) were drilled in 7 holes.
Six holes were drilled to bedrock and one hole was drilled to a
depth of 5.5mto test the nature of material above the till.
The overburden drilling programme was designed to test
basal tills over and down ice from Conductor A on line 2+25 west
as defined in surveys reported by Busch (1984).
EXPLORATION HISTORY
The following summarizes previous exploration on the property:
-1960 Electrum Lake Gold Mines Ltd.; Prospecting and drilling; 1545 feet in 12 holes
-1977 Pelican Mines Limited; Geophysics and drilling 2288 feet in 9 holes
-1983 David Busch; Metallurgical tests-1984 David Busch; Magnetic and VLF Electromagnetic surveys-1985 David Busch; Mapping-1987 David Busch; Stripping and channel sampling-1988 David Busch; Overburden drilling, conductor A (.this report)
In addition to the above, a detailed mapping programme was
done over part of the mineralized area by C. Blackburn of the Ontario
Ministry of Natural Resources in 1985.

OVERBURDEN DRILLING PROGRAMME
The overburden drilling programme cosisted of 7 holes
totalling 46.9 meters. The holes were drilled across Conductor A
as shown in Figuces 3 and 4.
The overburden equipment used is designed to sample basal
tills. The sampler consists of a 'flow-through' bit that recovers
a 17 cm. long sample from the base of the drill stem. The sample
typically weighs 100 grams from which the -60 mesh fraction is
recovered and analysed for gold. The sampler is driven to bedrock
using a Cobra percussion drill.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Results of the overburden drilling are shown with analytical
results in Figure 4. Detailed descriptions of each site is provided
in Appendix II.
Conductor A is directly associated with pyritic (3%) sericite
shist and it can be concluded that it represents a valid bedrock
conductor.
Gold values of 10 and 30 ppb in samples E-01 and E-02
respectively suggest a possible gold source up ice from these
locations.
Given that Conductor A is probably a true bedrock conductor
and that 'anomalous 1 gold values (10 and 30 ppb in -60 mesh fraction)
occur in till 15 and 20m. down ice from the conductor axis on line
2+25 west.it is recommended that Conductor A be further tested with
diamond drilling in the vicinity of Line 2+25 west.
