Sitara Conductors & Cables Pvt. Ltd. (Formerly known As

Sitara Metals Pvt. Ltd.) founded by Mr. Nirmal Kumar

Mukim, has been operating since 1986 in the field of

Metallurgy and Electrical Engineering and has earned good

reputation through these years.

We have strengthened our base of Proucts with a whole

new energy and vigour and with the motive to serve in the

Power Sector by starting up a Manufacturing Unit for

production of Overhead Electricity Transmission

Conductors – AAC & ACSR Conductors.

AAC Conductor is a concentric lay-stranded conductor consistingof Aluminium Wires EC Grade in both single and multilayer constructions.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

AAC Conductors meets requirements of IS:398 (P-I), 1996 and asper International Standards.

PRODUCT FEATURES

AAC Conductor provides reliable performance in Overhead Transmission and Distribution Applications. AAC Conductors are used in line designs that do not require the strength of ACSR Type conductors while maximising current carrying capacity.This Conductor is manufactures from electrolytically refined (E.C. Grade) aluminium, having purity of minimum 99.5% of aluminium. This Conductor is used in Urban Areas and the spacingis short and the supports are close. This is also used extensively onCoastal because it has a very high degree of corrosion resistance.

ALUMINIUM CONDUCTOR STEEL RE-INFORCED (A.C.S.R)

ACSR is a concentric-lay-stranded conductor consisting of a single core wire or a stranded steel central core with one or more layers of stranded aluminium wires. Steel wires are protected from Galvanizing and offering High Strength required

ACSR conductors provide dependable performance for many years under adverse conditions.The combination of aluminium and steel in the conductor design offer both efficient conductivity and High Tensile strength making ACSR Conductors the most economical solution for Overhead Power Transmission and Distribution Projects. The High strength ACSR Conductors are used for river crossings, overhead ground wires, installations involving extra long spans, against any given resistance of conductor, ACSR Conductor may be manufactured for having a wide range of tensile strength as per requirement.
