4. This dazzling 1400 year old gold and garnet brooch was found in a grave in Covent Garden.

6. The truly magnificent Lord Mayor’s State Coach was built in 1757.

7. The exquisite Fanshawe dress was made from local Spitalfields silk woven by French Huguenots and worn by Ann Fanshawe when her father was Lord Mayor of London in 1752-53.

Planning your visit to the Museum of London

The Museum of London is situated in the City in the centre of London. It is a 5 minute walk from St Paul’s Cathedral, 15 minutes from Tate Modern and 25 minutes from the Tower of London.
