CF200andCF100screensadoptacentralflowpattern,i.e.waterentersthecenterofthescreenfirst.Ovivosresearchhasprovedthatthecentralflowpatternisthemostefficientmeansofremovingsuspendedsolidsforwastewaterapplications.Thispatternalsoeliminatestheproblemofcarryoverfoundinmoretraditionalstraight-thoughandsteptypescreens.

Wastewaterentersthroughthecenterofthefinescreenandflowsoutwardsthroughamovingbandofpolymermeshpanelstotheoutsideofthescreenchamber.Screeningsareretainedontheinsideofthescreenpanels,andaredischargedbylowpressurewaterjetsatdecklevelduringthecleaningcycle.

Waterjetsaremountedontoajetpipeinsidethescreenheadsection.Duringthecleaningcyclethesejetscontinuouslycleanthepanelsastheypassthedischargepointabovethedebrishopper.Aremovableendcapisfittedtothejetpipeforflushing.Ifwashwaterisunavailable,apressureswitchpreventsscreenoperation.OnmanysitestheBrackettBriedenAutomaticstrainerincreasesthescreensefficiencybyreusingscreenedeffluentasthescreenwashwatersupply.

BrackettGreenCF200andCF100BandScreensarefittedwithpatentedtaperedholethickpolymermeshpanels.Unlikesteelorothermetallicmeshandplates,thepanelsactivelydiscouragehair-pinning.Thesehighlyeffectivescreensdonotrequirebrushcleaners,removingasourceofconstantproblemsfoundonalternativemachines.

Forsomespecialapplicationstheflowcanbereversed,withwaterflowingfromtheoutsidetothecenter.Thisflowpattern,likethecentralflowpattern,totallyeliminatescarryoverandensureseffectiveandefficientscreening.

ConstructionBrackettGreenCF200andCF100BandScreensarehousedwithinadurable,freestandingstainlesssteelframework.Thisdesignreducescivilworksandeliminatestheneedforbuilt-inchainguidestobeaccuratelyalignedinthecivilwork.

ThescreeningbandiscarriedoneitherUHWMPetracks(CF100)ormainchains(CF200)thataresupportedbyabove-decksprockets.Theframesarefittedwithreplaceablerollertracksandlocatingstrips,whichprotecttheintegrityoftheframe.Theshaft-mountedcombinedmotorandreductiongearunitdrivesthescreenband.Apower-monitoringdevicepreventstorqueoverload.

Sealingbetweenthemovingbandofmeshpanelsandthescreenframeisachievedbyapatentedneopreneseal,incontactwithalowfrictionplasticsealingface.CF200andCF100 screens feature a debriselevatorattachedtothetrailingedgeofeachpanel.Thechannelimmediatelyinfrontofthescreenissealedbydeflectorplatesfittedtothescreensframeworkatthisjuncturebetweenscreenand civilworkastaticsealisalsoused.

One-Piece InstallationCF200andCF100BandScreensareusuallydeliveredinonepiecethisallowsforeaseofinstallationandenablesthescreenstobelifted intopositionfullyassembled.

TheCFbandscreenheadsectionsarefittedwithremovableaccesspanels.Thesecanincorporateinspectionwindowsandsplashguardsspeciallydesignedtoreduceaerosolfromthesprayjets toanabsoluteminimum.
