RBS story – New Direction

Through disruptive times, a new banking

order is emerging

Our journey has been challenging,

but we are making progress

We must build further on our strengths –

we are in the game to win

By creating a culture where people are

energised and empowered to deliver

So that we choose our own

future

And RBS will be a successful and valuable

business

Our mission

To be the number one for customer service, trust and advocacy in our chosen business areas by 2020. – Ross McEwan CEO

RBS structure – Three customer business

Ross McEwan set out a change in the structure of the bank to shape our activity around the needs of our customers. Since then we have been building

detailed implementation plans for each of our three new customer businesses.

At all times, the focus has been on doing what is best for our customers while minimising disruption to how they are served.
