There is no doubt that information technology has become among important if

not an essential need in everybody’s life. Personally, technology has made my life

more fun and easy. Currently people have no choice other than learning at least

something about information technology since they have become part of most

organisations daily work routine. Robert pool in his essay talks about how society

Technology actually has brought more good than harm. For instance, television being one of

the useful products of technology brings families together in that, families would sit together in their

living room and watch some television programmes. This makes it possible for members of families

to keep bonding even with their busy work schedules. In this century one of the most important

technologies is definitely internet. This is because it has allowed people to communicate globally, it

has made the world be what is popularly referred to as global village. Personally, I do Skype with my

family anytime, this reduces homesick big time. Furthermore, Skype are also used by employers to

carry out interviews, this saves a lot of time that and resources.

Technology is the actual force in modern life since it has given humans an opportunity to

control nature.

In conclusion, the introduction of technology in the current society has had both positive and

negative effects .As far as many people benefit from technology, others will obviously loss

out.Therefore, the goal of studying technology is not only to find a solution to technological fix but

also find ways of balancing technology within the current society hence benefit each and every

person.

Technology has affected every part of family life. We are spending more time in doors than weare
