Hi Team,I hope all of you reading this are safe and healthy and so are your loved ones.3 years and what a journey for all of us (inspite of the last 8 months of COVID)

In today’s ever changing environment, the role of the finance function is notonly restricted to the traditional book keeping, number crunching andfinancial reporting, but also spans across a larger spectrum of responsibilities.Within the ambit, fall, financial planning, leading the organization throughfinance automation and acting as a business partner by being more strategicand less transactional. The finance function at CML lays a strong emphasis on managing risks, ensuring the integrity andaccuracy of the company’s financial statements and stands as a robust decision support system forthe Management, thereby, driving the overall growth and performance of the company. We at CML focus on turning financial numbers into something meaningful. We derive insightsand deliver timely and accurate information to all the stakeholders. The integrity, flexibility andspeed of the information delivered, enables the management and staff to more effectively managethe business. I am also happy to share with you all that w.e.f. 1 April 2019, CML has successfully moved to thenew Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards). With this move, our financial statements are in linewith the Internationally accepted and recognised financial reporting standards. This increases thecomparability and use of our financial statements for our various stakeholders globally. Planting our SuccessHemprabha Sharma-Raipur

Hemprabh Shrama,a resident of Birgaon, Raipur lives with her husband and two sons. Birgaon provides

limited employment opportunities and the only viable option is entrepreneurship. Hemprabha’s

husband is an Ayurvedic doctor, running a small clinic in the village. As the family grew, her husbands

limited income was not enough to cope with their requirements. Like any parent, Hemprabha wanted

to educate her children well and build a platform to make them economically independent. Her

husband, being a doctor, she felt it would be appropriate to start a small pharmacy close to the clinic.

This would complement her husband’s business, wherein he would prescribe the medicines and

recommend her pharmacy for the sale. Once established, this pharmacy could later on provide

employment to her sons. She met Centrum MicroCredit’s Loan Officer in 2014 and learnt about the

Joint Group Loan. After due financial and business planning with assistance from the company, she

availed her first loan instalment of Rs. 15,000/- and started operations. Six years have passed, and with

every round of additional finance, she purchased more supplies to widen her product range. Today,

Hemprabha’s business has enabled her to put her sons in pharmacy college and will soon join her in the

business. Hemprabha says, “I am on my fifth loan cycle with Centrum MicroCredit and I am extremely

grateful to them, for helping me achieve my dream and providing a better and secured future for my

children. I can proudly say that my husband and 2 sons are the most educated and monetarily sound in

our village.”

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has affected

everyone's day to day life and is slowing

down the global economy and has even

rapidly affected our businesses and

disrupted the world trade and movements.

Centrum Microcredit along with the

Centrum Foundation continues to help

provide relief in these affected areas.

We Distributed food and other daily

essentials to affected families in areas like

Karjat, Badlapur and Ambernath and will

continue to help provide relief in the

severely affected areas.

Executive Chairman ofCentrum Group andChairman of CML visit HO

We were lucky to have been visited on the

23rd of October by Mr. Jaspal Bindra and

Mr. Ranjan Ghosh for a rendevouz with

our Executive Director and CEO- Mr.

Prashant Thakker.

As we embraced our Indian Traditional

Friday's, Both Mr. Jaspal and Mr. Ranjan

joined us in doing so.

Super Family Contest

We conducted a Super Family Contest among

our employees in which the employees along

with their families had to send a 30 second video

of them enjoying the festive season with their

loved ones.

The winner of the Contest was Shankar Sharma,

Unit Manager from Jharkhand who has won

exciting gift vouchers.

Diwali Celebration

Diwali is celebrated as a significance of

triumph of good over evil after Krishna's

Victory over Narakasura..

Diwali a festival of lights, was celebrated in all

our branches on Friday,13th. We conducted a

small puja and distributed mithai afterwards.

We celebrated the festival in the true sense by

wishing for and spreading joy, wealth, good

health and wisdom to all.

CML's 3 Year Anniversary Celebration

CML, both physically and virtually celebrated its 3 Year Anniversary on the 1st of December,2020.

The event started off with Director of CML, Ms. Deepa Poncha launching CML’s revamped website

and discussing our active and fast-growing Social media presence on LinkedIn.

Following this we had dance performances from across the states. We saw our 3-Year Anniversary

video highlighting our 3 pillars of success, Our Customers, Our Employees and CML's Leadership

Team.

We had a Rewards & Recognition segment where we awarded several star performers, star branches

and those people who have shown exemplary performance with Certificate Rewards.

We had our Executive Director and C.E.O address the audience and talk about CML's future plans.

Business Head, Mr. Praveen Saha, took the audience by storm with his impromptu speech

motivating all our employees to keep our Josh High!

We were lucky to be joined by several Centrum House Top Management, esteemed Directors of

CML, the Chairman of CML, Mr. Ranjan Ghosh and Chairman of Centrum Group, Mr. Jaspal

Bindra.

Our event ended at an all time high, with a highly motivating Vote of Thanks and a cake cutting by

our Top Management.
