Review and Approve the Minutes of Malz 28" 2014 and August 22. 2014. Upon a motionmade and seconded, the Committee unanimously approved the Minutes of May 28,2014and August22,2014.

Review and Approve 2015 Budget. The Committee reviewed a draft of the 2015 Budgetthat projected a year-end account balance on December 3 l, 2015 of $ 123,050.94. that 2,000 copies were printed to include distribution at the 2014 Gaming LawConference and 2015 BSA Conference.

4. 2011 Gaming Law Con-ference -Update. The Committee was advised that the 2014Gaming Law Conference would be held on Novemb er 7th atthe Red Rock Casino ResortSpa. The State Bar was projecting total registrations to be approximately 150.

5. Co-Sponsorship of IAGA Reception. Pursuant to it's meeting on August 22,20l4,theCommittee authorized the GLS to spend $5,000 to co-sponsor an InternationalAssociation Gaming Advisors (IAGA) reception honoring Gaming Hall lnductees,Patricia Becker and Robert D. Faiss both longtime members of the GLS. JenniferRoberts, Greg Giordano and Jennifer Carleton advised the Committee regarding theturnout and presentation of a framed copy of the 2014 Nevada Gaming Lawyer cover tothe members of Faiss familv.

6. Pro Bono Gaming Emplo]ree Registration Program. Scott Scherer was unable to attendthe meeting and provide an update. Jennifer Roberts indicated that the cases had beenassigned in the past three months.

1. Gaming Law Practice & Procedure Manual. Greg stated that Mark Lerner, formerGeneral Counsel for Bally Technologies had agreed to assist in reviewing the chapters tobelp frnalize the Manual. Greg further advised that 17 of the 18 chapters had beendrafted and submitted for review. It is anticipated that a draft of the Manual should beready for submission to the State Bar in the First Quarter of 2015.

8. 2015 BSA Conference. The Committee reviewed a tentative outline for the 2015 BSAConference, which would give attendees the options of signing up for the conference thatwould run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or signing up for the BSA l0l Brealdast andconference package. The breakfast would take place from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. andprovide those interested in a primer or refresher with a basic over the Bank Secrecy Act.The Committee advised that the conference would probably take place on June 18th. TheState Bar promised to improve the streamline the sign-in process, upgrade the audiosystem by adding more speakers and add a second screen for visual presentations.

9. Nevada Gaming Law],er (2015). The Committee had initial discussion about the 2015edition of the Nevada Gaming Lawyer, including articles and individuals that berecognized on the cover in2015 and the next couple of years. Greg reminded theCommittee that ads and drafts of articles should be submitted by June 1't. Jeffindicatedthat Jennifer Roberts and Lou Dorn would assist would in co-editing the next issue.

Gaming Law Conference would be held on November 6th. In addition to a one-hourRegulator Roundtable and two-hour ethics presentation, the Committee would need todecide what topics and speakers should fiIl out the remaining three hours and who shouldbe the keynote lunch speaker.

I 1. 2015 Executive Committee. The Committee discussed the timing of a Listserve.commessage to the GLS members regarding their interest in being considered forappointment to the Committee. Several members felt that responses from interestedmembers with their resumes or biographical statement should be received no later thanmid-April to give the Committee time to review applications prior to its May 2015meeting.

12. William S. Boyd School of Law. UNLV. Ngai Pindell, Associate Dean of AcademicAffairs & Profess of Law was unable to attend the meeting to give the Committee anupdate on activities at the law school.

13. Other Items of Discussion. No additional items were raised for discussion.

14. Adjourn. No other business being raised for discussion, the meeting was adjourned.
