I. Flipkart Services India (P) Ltd (Nov 2015)

As Operational Manager – My core responsibility was to analysis the utilization of resources (Costing, Manpower etc.) using LEAN & SIX Sigma tools. Provide a structured oriented design Supply Chain solutions in current operations which would have a greater impact on current operations & future stability in the business.

I do analysis large data in order to provide solutions for real world problems and challenges faced during the operation & build a solution oriented metrics around the same with live business cases with Flipkart's FC, mother hub and line-haul operations Plus, monitoring the existent metrics

As, a manager I closely work with cross-functional teams (which includes Control Tower, Mapping, Tech, Product & Design) to support day-to-day execution of operations and Implementing design changes along with driving medium scale projects also to develop an automated reporting solutions which would help in enabling and managing the business with more effective decisions based on the data at the time of risk/emergency.

Lastly worked with merchandise operations department exclusively managing online operation of Target.com. wherein, I was into planning, forecasting and replenishment of inventory & creation of sell-ready and distribution-ready items on the both Target stores and e-commerce to obtain the planned financial figures $ and achieve customer satisfaction.

My core responsibility was to manage supply chain operations (which includes Inventory forecasting and planning) for both Target stores and e-commerce platform. In addition to this I lead and managed a team wherein, I had execute & monitor the daily operations & also evaluating team utilization & productivity is meet as per organizational standard metrics.

Preparation of financial reports for quarterly business review meetings with stack holders to showcase the progress with regards to ‘$’ value contribution made by the team towards organizational goal.

II. October 2011 – April 2013 - Target Corporation - Specialist – Merch Operations

In this role I was mainly engaged myself into vendor negotiation, order management and purchase order tacking processes. I worked on procurement of merchandise goods/items for Target based on existing data & requirements from off shore team.

I used to work in conjunction with respective department and/or business units on all the issues by taking ownership and co-ordinate with product design, imaging and e-solutions teams for any issue resolutions & maintain accuracy of product information which would help supply chain operations.

Purchase Order writing, tracking and maintenance was crucial part in my role and communicate with Target Sourcing team for purchase and shipping of product. Also, maintain the open to buy (OTB) account for business analysts in order to ensure purchase of appropriate product quantities and to avoid unproductive inventories at distribution center. Initiated a new project transitions from headquarters to Target India (which include PAR, IMN etc.) This directly impacted the inventory management at Target stores
