Get A Free PECU Youth Account For Your Kids And Grandkids It’s always a good time to help your kids and grandkids learn about money. PECU wants to help by offering free kids and teen accounts from now through August 31, 2020! The PECU Zoo Crew is for kids 12 and under. Club Bling is our teen account for those 13-18 years old. Both accounts earn interest and have no monthly fee and no minimum balance. It normally takes just a $5 deposit to open either type of account. Through August 31, PECU will waive the new member fee and put the first $5 in new PECU Zoo Crew and Club Bling accounts. PECU has joined forces with more than a dozen other area credit unions to form the Alliance of Austin Credit Unions. This means all members of participating credit unions have the convenience of using any ATM within the network at no charge.
