Baku, the capital and commercial hub of

Azerbaijan.

Depart towards Sheki. On the way, stop at

Diri Baba Mausoleum in the village of

Maraza. Continue to Shamakhi and visit the

historical Juma Mosque. Weather

permitting, a scenic drive through

Girdimanchay River Canyon to visit Lahich.

by the Lagichians. Continue driving to Sheki for an evening arrival and overnight.

DAY 4SHEKI BORDER KAKHETI (GEORGIA)Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning visit to the Sheki Khans Palace,

which is surrounded by medieval fortress

walls, and then visit handicrafts workshops

and caravanserai. After lunch head towards

the border with Georgia. Cross the border

and start exploring the Eastern part of

Georgia, which is famous for its viticulture

and winemaking traditions. Visit the Khareba Winery, a unique wine cellar is located in a

tunnel carved out of the rock. Enjoy a wine

tour and a tasting session. Transfer to hotel

at Kakheti region for overnight with stunning

views of the Caucasus Mountains.

DAY 2BAKU ABSHERON PENINSULABAKULunch, Dinner

Upon arrival, be welcomed by Azerbaijan guide and transfer for lunch at local

restaurant. Start to Ateshgah, visit the Fire

Temple located in Surakhany village.

Zoroastrians from India travel thousands of

kilometers to Ateshgah to worship the fire

coming out of the earth. Continue to

Yanardag Mountain, where natural gas has

been burning for several thousands of years.

Return to Baku and indulge in the scenic

vistas of Baku new city & Flame Towers on

coach. Photo stop at Heydar Aliyev Center designed by Zaha Hadid with its distinctive

architecture and flowing, curved style that

eschews sharp angles. Then move to

Icheri Sheher the oldest part of the city.

Visit the Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs’ Palace, caravanserai, and market square

with numerous art studios and souvenir

stalls. Enjoy authentic dinner at the museum

like-traditional restaurant with tasty

Enjoy early breakfast before head south to the border of Armenia. After clearing immigration, meet your Armenian tour guide and proceed for lunch. Start your acquaintances with Haghpat Monastery which is among the outstanding works of medieval Armenian architecture and is inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list. Drive to picturesque town Dilijan, a unique settlement with its natural and climatic conditions.

DAY 6

TBILISIBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerStart the sightseeing tour of Tbilisi. Visit Holy Trinity Cathedral, known as Sameba is one

of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the

world. View the Metekhi church, with the

equestrian statue of Vakhtang Gorgasali

located at a bend in the Mtkvari River. Visit

Narikala Fortress by cable car to enjoy a

breathtaking panoramic view of the city.

Walk down to the district of sulphur bath

houses and pass by the only mosque in

Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden area, full of

narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting

bars, and souvenir shops, and breathe in the

history of Old Tbilisi. Passed by Sioni

Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and stop at

the famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre’s clock tower, before crossing the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park. Tonight, enjoy a traditional

Georgian cuisine and be entertained by

national folk dances and musical shows at

the local restaurant.

class of Armenian Pasta “Arishta” and sweets.

Move to visit Sighnaghi Town, which is

surrounded by defensive walls with 23

towers and was an important trading center

on the Great Silk Road. Drive to visit Bodbe Convent, the revered final resting place of St

Nino. Depart for Mtskheta, one of the oldest

cities in Georgia and its first capital. Discover

the two UNESCO Sites including Jvari Monastery, dating back to 6th century AD.

Standing on the top of the hill, it overlooks

the town of Mtskheta and the confluence of

two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari. Next admire

Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a major center of

Georgian Orthodox Christianity where the

robe of Jesus is said to be buried. Arrive in

Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

DAY 8

Breakfast, Lunch, Chinese Dinner

Depart to visit Sevanavank Monastery which

located on a peninsula at the northwestern

shore of Lake Sevan, one of largest

high-mountain freshwater lakes in the world.

Head to the village of Garni and visit the

extraordinary Pagan Temple built in the 1st

century AD. Enjoy lunch in a local house

where you will have chance to see the

preparation of the Armenian national bread

“lavash”. Next visit to UNESCO Site Geghard,

a medieval monastery partially carved out of

the adjacent mountain. Continue head

towards Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

DILIJAN LAKE SEVAN GARNI GEGHARD YEREVAN

Head to visit Echmiadzin Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the 7th century ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral were built at a time when much of Armenia was under the Byzantine empire. Back to Yerevan, enjoy a farewell evening meal and be entertained by an Armenian Folk show.
