On October 25, 1881, in the country of Spain, one of the most famous painters of the 1900s was born. His name was Pablo Picasso. Not only was Picasso a great painter, he was also a sculptor.

When Picasso was very young, he showed signs of becoming a great artist. Picasso’s father was an artist, and he spent time teaching his son how to draw.
