WHY IS HE IMPORTANT??

For padre pio as a priest, he was given a gift from god to be able to read the hearts of the people who had flocked to him for confession. When he did the confessions he was able to bring the people closer to God and devote themselves to the lord. He was given the religious name of pio from the church. After padre’s studies after seven years he was finally ordained .

His miracles he donePadre was known as anything but ordinary . He had received stigmata on September 20th,1918. he also bilocation and was able to have a city spared during WWII. He has also been known to be able to levitate to reach the confessional without being seen because of so many people wanted to be able to confess too him. Amazingly he was able to heal other people. A different gift that isn’t really known is that he had the gift of perfume of being able to attract people to him. He had a gift of light. A light came from his stigmata that was shaped as a cross that had emitted a light.

Holy lifePadre pio was like the apostle Paul that is known in the bible. Padre had placed the apostolic work he does and the Centre of his life as strength.
