1 0 On July 25th 2017 DOB was notified by OSHA of a construction fatality that occurred July 12th 2017 at 223 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn. It was confirmed by the C.S that the Deceased, Roberto Mital (DOB 4/19/82) was a worker at the site. C.S. Jacob Hirsch and his competent person stated that the worker fainted from heat exhaustion and was taken to the hospital. DOHMH report indicates cause of death due to blunt force injuries to the torso and lower left extremity and multi organ failure. A DOI investigation of this incident is still ongoing as of January 5, 2018.
