The software systems of ourcompany are offered underthe name JobDISPO. Theapplication areas of the dif-ferent solutions are depictedin fig. 1.JobDISPO EAI solves inter-face problems within yourcompany (e.g. the connec-tion to an existing ERP-/PPC-/CAD-/CAM-/MES-/CAQ-/MDC-software) as wellas the electronical integra-tion of customers and sup-pliers (e.g. by EDI/XML).

ConceptThe tool developed for fac-tory-, logistic-, material flowand layout planning will besold under the name JobDIS-PO FAP and has been pre-sented at the tradeshowMETAV in Munich (27.-30.04.2004). The software canbe either used as add-on toan existing ERP-/PPC-soft-

The mana-gement board must identifyrisks and problems in advan-ce in order to react promptlyand properly. For decisionmakers it‘s difficult to recog-nize critical situations in or-der to act first instead of reac-ting later on. We help to dealwith that questions by thedevelopment of JobDISPOMCP.

ConceptIn order to deal with challen-ge, we started to develop amanagement cockpit calledJobDISPO MCP. With thismanagement cockpit, theuser is able to design ascreen mask to place allneeded indicators. JobDIS-PO MCP offers a predefinedtool-set of different indica-tors. However, these indica-tors cannot only be used andadapted to special needs.Furthermore, even the toolset can be extended. Theseindicators can be used foreconomical or logistic keyfigures for sales, productiondispatch or other depart-ments or areas of interest.Using clear and concise dis-plays, an actual overview ofthe enterprise at a glance canbe granted. Not only CEOscan use this software, buteveryone who is responsible

for a certain business or de-partment can map his figureswith his processes. Based onour actual real world experien-ce, only a limited number of3-7 key performance figuresare useful to manage a pro-cess, a group, a departmentor an entire company in orderto avoid an information over-load. The user is able to buildup his individual interfacewhere he can arrange theneeded items and indicators.Graphically different displayelements like bar-, pie-, XY-diagrams and a tacho can beused. By the personalizationof the cockpit, everyone canarrange his personal mana-gement cockpit where he cansee his important data at aglance. Also, free definablebarriers can be used to buildup an early-warning system.So, as-is deviations from pre-defined to-be numbers can be

controlled. On that basis, cor-responding actions can be ta-ken in advance. So you canact before you have to react.
