Bodega Norton
What a great way to spend a chilly Monday evening in November! Our esteemedguest and 2012 Winemaker of the Year, Jorge Riccitelli joined us in conjunction
with the International Wine & Food Society (IW&FS), as we hosted 47 winesavvy guests. Although our guest speaker did not speak any English, his ca-pable translator guided us through the wonderful world of making some ofArgentina’s most celebrated wines. The region’s specialty is the Malbecgrape, attendees were introduced to several variations and how Jorgetransforms the varietal into something spectacular.
Our culinary team did not disappoint with a four course Argentinian in-
spired menu that was given a supportive two thumbs up from our born and
raised Argentine winemaker.
Stay tuned for upcoming wine events in 2014!

Custom Wine andDine ExperienceOver the past several months we have hosted a variety of private wine and
food experiences completely customized to the host Member’s prefer-ences. These intimate dinners have been well received, and are becoming verypopular among Members who are eager to learn more about food and wine,
in the perfect night out.
Recent Member dinners included a Taste of Italy (a food and wine pair-
ing menu for 15 Members focused on the regional food and wines of
Italy) and a reds only dinner, where we created a paired menu fea-
turing only red wines from across the world.
The dinner is hosted by our Sommelier/Food & Beverage Man-
ager, Corey Ladouceur as he guides you through the pairings; he
provides some background on the wines, varietals, and interesting
facts that are geared toward wine novices and wine enthusiasts
alike. Chef James and his team create and prepare a delicious pair-
ing menu that punctuates the perfect marriage between food and
wine. We would be happy to create a custom wine and food expe-
rience with you.
Here is what one of our Members had to say…
“If you are looking for a new experience or just want to get
out with good friends for a fabulous evening – this is for you.
Corey has an outstanding knowledge of wine, which he used to
collaborate with the Chef to bring an exquisite dining/evening
experience, which was totally customized to our specific needs.
We were not any easy group, with multiple dietary needs. Corey
initially queried us; to get a really in-depth insight and under-
standing into the wine and food we liked. He then showed his
real talent to pair the food and wine perfectly. The quality of the
wine and food was outstanding. The entire presentation was art-
ful and the room was decorated and designed for a gourmet meal.
For each pairing Corey added an informative interactive talk to
describe what we were about to enjoy, in a very unobtrusive
manner – truly delightful!”
— Bob Cockerill, St. George’s Member
