In his lecture, Mark will illustrate how the environmental focus of his new book A Natural History of English Gardening (2015) is being applied to garden conservation. HT Certificate ProgramThe Horticultural Therapy Certificate offers a comprehensive look at the principles and practices of the profes-sional use of horticulture as therapy. This four-part program focuses on the core skills and knowledge recommend-ed for HT education by the Canadian Horticultural Therapy Association (CHTA). Rye’s Homegrown Rooftop Field TripSaturday, Aug. 13, 10 a.m. to NoonPublic $15; Members $10Join Arlene Throness, Ryerson University’s Urban Agriculture Coordinator, on a tour of the university’s ¼ acre rooftop farm.
