Fri.-Sun., Aug. 06-08 | Das Awkscht Fescht is held every August on the grounds of Macungie Memorial Park in

Macungie, PA. This is a 3-day festival featuring antique cars, food trucks, games for children, an automotive flea mar-

ket, a used car corral, and live music from a variety of local bands. The cars must be at least 25 years old, and this year

that included all makes and models 1996 or older. On Sun., Aug. 08, AACC was responsible for parking all the Corvettes

on the show field. We had our club tent set up displaying our AACC banner. Club members Dave Hornung, Linda Train-

er, Bruce and Elizabeth Garnto, Tim Pummer, and Marty and Laura Hegyi assisted with parking. John Kostick and Jeff

and Lisa Gontarek distributed our fall show flyers to all Corvette and GM vehicles on display. Several Corvette owners

visited the tent and inquired about our show or requested membership information. 2022 will be the 59th year for Das

Awksht Fescht, when cars 1997 and older are eligible to participate. Find more information at www.awkscht.com.
