NOTICE OF DATES FOR EARLY VOTING FOR THE OCTOBER 24, 2015 (Saturday) ELECTION

The Vermilion Parish Registrar Of Voters' Office does hereby give notice to registered voters of Vermilion Parish, that "Early Voting" for the October 24, 2015 Election will be held during the following dates:

Saturday, October 10, 2015 through Saturday, October 17, 2015 (Except Sunday, October 11, 2015)

Early Voting will be held in the Registrar Of Voters' Office from 8:30 am through 6:00 pm on each of the days during the above stated period. The Registrar's office is located on the first floor of the courthouse in Abbeville. Persons wanting to vote during this early voting period must be a registered voter in Vermilion Parish as of September 23, 2015, and shail provide a State of Louisiana recognized identification card ( such as a driver's license, or other issued identification card ) that has their name, a picture of themselves, and has their signature shown on it.

The ballot will consist of candidates running for the following offices, as well as. Constitutional Amendments and Tax Renewal/Rededication Propositions:

Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General,State Treasurer, Comm, of Agriculture and Forestry, Comm, of Insurance. BESE Board Member - Districts 3 & 7;State Representative District 41 (Maurice and Surrounding Area Only); Vermilion Parish Sheriff; Police Jury - Districts 1,7, and 10;Village of Maurice: Sales Tax Renewal and Rededication Proposition; Ward 8 Cemetary Board - !.19 mills Property Tax Continuation; Vermilion Ph. Police Jury - Rededication of a portion of the Health

Unit/Animal Control Property Tax Fund Reserves to construct a Cooperative Extension Building:

Four (4) Constitutional Amendments.

Please also note that the first day of Early Voting on Saturday, October 10, 2015, falls during the Vermilion Parish Cattle Festival, and therefore access to park near the courthouse will be limited, especially during the afternoon parade. Please make allowances if you plan to vote on that Saturday.
